Kal-El, meet your new father, same as your old father...

The more info I hear about Bryan Singer's Superman Returns, the more pumped up I'm getting for a new Superman movie, especially considering the amazing ideas it sounds like Singer has planned for the film. The latest revelation to leak to the 'net? Marlon Brando (yes, the formerly living Marlon Brando) will, with any hope, be making a return appearance as Jor-El in the new film. No, Singer has not found a way to re-animate corpses. Apparently, he is planning to use some combination of unused footage from the first two Superman films (in which Brando played Supes' pop) and CGI to allow the deceased Brando to again step into the role. What an awesome idea. I love it. (And this idea isn't so far-fetched, with Laurence Olivier turning in a post-humous performance in Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow.) Go Bryan Singer!
